If you're new to video editing, you may be wondering which software to use. There are a wide range of video editing software available today. Some software costs more than $ 500 while others are below $ 100, and yet some are free!
As a beginner, I buy the commercial ones out before trying to free video editing software would suggest. Basic video and special effects get more complicated stuff before going to the execution of the first edit.
There are many download free video editing software. Here are the top seven are my suggestions:
1. Windows Movie Maker (PC)
Windows Movie Maker, the former running on Windows Vista is the latest in PC video editing makes it easy to install. You create, edit and share your videos right on your computer. Build your movie with a few simple drag and drop. Delete bad shots and include only the best scenes. Shared Web, e-mail, or CD through your movie again. You also play back on a TV camera or cameras can save your movie back to videotape.
2. Apple iMovie (Mac):
Drag and drop editing - even for an easier way to make videos. Apple iMovie gives you more ways to add clips to your project: you can replace or insert the clip using a pop-up menu. Or simply edit your audio. Advanced Tools menu you can show in the iMovie preferences, drag and drop editing cutaways as additional options, picture images, including green screen effects. Software is only free if you have a new Mac system.
3. Debugmode Wax (PC)
Wax a little old, but it is still a high performance and flexible video editing software. It can be used as stand-alone application, or as a plug-in for other video editors. The software also features unlimited video and audio tracks. Wax is flexible in visual effects, so you all can easily create your dream video sequence.
4. Zwei-Stein (PC, Linux)
Zwei-Stein is a freeware non-linear, non-destructive video compositing and editing system which offers many advanced features unavailable elsewhere. With Zwei-Stein you 256 video, audio and still image clips, each with up to 64 effects chained serially can edit. Crop panning, and custom effects automatically with key frames are easy.
